Learn to teach Restorative Yoga with Tash Francesca & Taryn Diamond.

This is a short in-person 30-hour training, not a full 200+ hour program.  It is inclusive and open to everyone: yoga practitioners and teachers — all bodies and all levels of experience.

This training is a continuing education offering for instructors who already have their full Yoga Instructor Certification (200+ hrs of YTT).  For casual participants, is an opportunity to deepen your knowledge of Restorative Yoga, to develop a home practice, and to share this modality with your loved ones and communities.

We will give you the tools to create an impactful rest practice and then give you the space to be critical about what that means.

Beyond tangible skills, this program explores why rest is important and navigates the intention required to curate rest effectively in community settings. Participants will unpack the role of the facilitator through critical self-reflection. Ultimately, these practices are not a one-size-fits-all. Our aim is that participants emerge with a deep appreciation for how rest is nuanced and unique to each body, housing different lived experiences.

In addition to scheduled weekday attendance, program requirements include:

  • Practice

Attend 3 drop-in restorative yoga classes and send us a brief report on your experience.

  • Restorative Teaching

Film yourself leading someone in two restorative postures and send us the recording for feedback.

Draft a brief sequence (4 poses max. not including savasana) and explain the intention.

  • Take Home Exam

Available by email on the last day of scheduled class time.

“Taught my first restorative class tonight and I just wanted to say how useful your restorative training was! I was diving deep into my notes and I felt like I had you in my brain giving me tips as the class went along. In fact, I even had my manual tucked away at the front of the room, just in case. It gave me confidence knowing it was there!”
